“Pickup at hotel was really nice. Carl was great & first thing when I got in car, he served me delicious Riesling Brut, my favorite! But then instead of driving to the advertised Rheinhessen region, Frankfurt to Mainz, we drove 40 minutes south to pick up another guest in Mannheim & then 20 minutes to 2 wineries in the south that were fun but not what was expected. Lunch was good but would preferred local dishes rather than flatbread. So too much time in car both directions, only 2 wineries & not the area/towns specified… I was really looking forward to seeing the Rhine River vineyards and Mainz, so it…”

“This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Our guide effortlessly switched between German and English for the group, making everyone feel included. He gave us plenty of room to ask questions, and the view over the vineyard was absolutely beautiful. He and his family were so likeable and welcoming.
