“It was a little expensive but the river cruise portion was great. The restaurant selection and wine tasting were very crowded, just with our group. Food was just Ok. Michael, our guide, was truly awesome. He was worth the price almost by himself!”
Baden-Baden, Black Forest, and Strasbourg in one day from Frankfurt, with a guided Baden-Baden walk, Lake Mummelsee stop, and Petit Train in Strasbourg.
“This tour has potential to be a great tour. Yes, you spend a long time traveling, however, I would not take the train in Strasberg. We were not given the option and felt like we wasted 90 minutes that could have been spent exploring the town. The other stops were well presented, but remain disappointed in the 20 minutes we had to explore Strasberg.”

“The boat ride was fine, but the “wine tasting” was a joke. Following dinner, we were each given shot glasses with three different white wines. We were expecting much more including some kind of commentary/instruction from an expert.”

“DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!!! This tour is just physically improbable. There just isn't enough time to do it. It is more than 9 hours in a silent uncomfortable van. I felt like a prisoner with no food. We left at 8:30 am for a tour scheduled at 3:50 pm. We did not get to visit Rothenburg which was the primary reason for our booking. THey are selling this tour which is very expensive and not delivering what was advertised. We got to Rothenburg at 8pm. just in time to see everything close - no sight seeing, no shopping, nothing. JUst a quick drive in a circle then back on…”
Frankfurt to Rothenburg day trip with guided medieval walk, Plönlein and city walls, plus St. Jacob’s Church or a museum entrance.
“We had a day to kill in Frankfurt, so we ventured to the town of Rothenburg. It takes about 2 hours to reach Rothenburgh, but the drive is worth it. The town itself is beautiful with a lot of history and things to see. Our guide Peter was incredible with knowledge and kindness.”
